This is an opportunity for a prospective student to meet a potential teacher to try out a lesson before committing to official enrollment. The student – whether a beginner or experienced – is assessed by the teacher, which may include asking the student to perform a piece, play a scale, attempt sight-reading [unprepared music], aural tests or rhythm clapping. Students and parents are encouraged to bring yo any questions to discuss with the potential teacher.
